General Practitioner (VR GP) – Mid-North Coast, NSW (DPA position)

A unique opportunity to join a modern, purpose-built clinic in a beautiful coastal town on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales - with high patient demand, minimal wait time to establish a full patient load and a supportive team culture, this role is ideal for a VR GP seeking a long-term, rewarding position in a lifestyle location.

- Established full-time GPs gross between $16,000–$25,000 per week

Pay Rate: 70% of billings + relocation assistance

This contemporary mixed billing clinic is purpose-built to support high-quality, efficient care in a bright and welcoming environment. The practice features six modern consulting rooms, a large treatment area, a dedicated procedure room and a separate sterilisation space. Designed with clinician comfort in mind, the layout includes generous natural lighting, a spacious staff kitchen and convenient onsite parking.

The team includes one full-time GP, experienced nurses, two receptionists and a proactive Practice Manager. As patient demand continues to rise, the clinic plans to welcome two additional GPs over the next 12–18 months. GPs typically see 30–40 patients per day, with a full schedule easily achievable within the first month. With a broad patient demographic ranging from young families to elderly individuals with chronic conditions, the clinic provides a rewarding and varied caseload in a well-supported environment.

The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with no weekend or after-hours work required,offering GPs the opportunity to enjoy a true work-life balance in a relaxed coastal setting. Saturday shifts are available for those seeking additional earning potential, while after-hours and nursing home commitments are minimal and entirely optional.

The Location

This picturesque coastal town offers an enviable lifestyle 1.5 hours from Newcastle and 3.5 hours from Sydney. With stunning beaches, access to nature, great schools, and a warm community atmosphere, it's an ideal location for professionals seeking a sea change. The clinic is within walking distance of two pharmacies, an ambulance station, and a private hospital, with a major public teaching hospital just 30 minutes away. Doctors will require a driver’s license for local travel, but everything you need is close by. Relocation support is available, including assistance with accommodation, airport transfers, and a reduced service fee during your initial transition.

Australian Permanent Residency or Australian/New Zealand Citizenship required.

No supervision available. GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
