The Team: The Education and Training team at Hospitals North are a dynamic and diverse group of education specialists providing learning and development opportunities to Nurses, Midwives and the broader interdisciplinary team. The LGH is a major clinical teaching site that partners with many education providers. All our learning and development programs focus on delivering excellence in healthcare and the ongoing learning and development of our staff. The Role: - Support the career progression of newly graduated nurses across Hospitals North and Primary Care - Partner with the operational teams to ensure our graduate nurses are successful in their transition to the profession - Be an integral part of statewide graduate nursing recruitment processes - It is preferable that the successful applicant has a valid driver's licence, as the role involves travel to Health North and Primary Care sites, including the North West and District Hospitals Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment: Permanent part-time, day worker position, working up to 56 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. - Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455 – $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: - Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
