Role Description

Right at Home provides exceptional in-home care in the Kalgoorlie and Wheatbelt regions. We seek passionate, client-focused Personal Care Workers to join our team. Our staff treat clients with care and respect, working in a supportive environment that encourages growth and meaningful contribution.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support daily activities per the care plan.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to deliver tailored care, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support.
- Identify and address care needs in partnership with the care team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep to promote independence.
- Maintain accurate records and report concerns promptly.
- Support mobility and wound care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

- Cert III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications (with at least 3 months validity).
- Reliable vehicle, insured, with a driver’s license.
- Recent Federal Police Clearance.
- Willingness to travel and flexible shifts.
- Empathy, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safety protocols.

Preferred Skills

- Understanding of person-centered care.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
