We are a leading high-voltage electrical contracting company, specialising in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. From our head office in Campbelltown, we deliver complex energy and infrastructure projects across Australia. With a strong reputation for safety, quality, and innovation, we partner with utilities, government, and private clients to provide end-to-end electrical infrastructure solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer to join our team and play a key role in securing new projects.
About the role:
You will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders, proposals, and cost estimates for high voltage electrical works, working closely with project managers, estimators, and design engineers.
- Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical input.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to bid strategies.
- Ensure tenders are compliant with technical, commercial, and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or trade qualified
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in tendering, estimating, or engineering within the electrical contracting or within the power industry.
- Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read Electrical Schematic drawings
- Previous tendering experience in Civil and electrical infrastructure is desirable
- Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
