What you will enjoy doing
1. You will identify new business opportunities within existing geographical boundaries and win and secure profitable competitor customers as per branch budget targets.
2. Target and increase tonnage against monthly budgets is required in this role.
3. Complete and submit monthly reports on due dates.
4. You will report on all product categories in the relevant branch regarding margin, volume, and competitor activity.
5. Establish and maintain data on the customer information base via appropriate EWS screens.
6. Develop trade allies and ensure they are serviced.
7. Conduct cylinder safety-training sessions for new customers as required.
8. Develop and maintain records of opposition customers.
9. Liaise with branch and transport functions to ensure desirable service levels are achieved.
10. Coordinate and cooperate with Customer Service Staff to achieve goals and targets for respective areas.
11. Monitor sign work, promotions, advertising, etc., to ensure that Elgas logo, trademark, and other company identifications are presented consistently with company guidelines and exposure is maximized.
What makes you great
- Two to three (2-3) years of industrial gas field sales experience.
- A clean and valid driver's license is required for this role.
- Strong sales experience is necessary.
- You are results-oriented.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
