Delivery Centric is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Sydney team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Java/Spring Boot applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaborative skills, and the ability to guide teams in implementing best practices and reusable DevOps patterns.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines using Jenkins, including Declarative pipelines and shared library functions.
- Manage source control repositories (Git) and implement best practices for versioning and branching strategies.
- Develop and maintain scripting solutions using Shell, Groovy, or similar languages for automation and pipeline efficiency.
- Integrate and use DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ, GHAS for code quality and artifact management.
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, to support scalable and reliable application deployments.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define standards, reusable CI/CD patterns, and templates, providing guidance and support on DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices for Java/Spring Boot and containerized applications.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD/CT pipelines using Jenkins (Declarative pipelines, Library functions).
- Proficient in Git and version control management.
- Hands-on scripting experience with Shell, Groovy, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ, GHAS, and other DevOps tools.
- Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
