Job Overview

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a Learning Technology Lead to play a key role at the intersection of learning design, technology, and enterprise systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and optimising our digital learning technology stack in partnership with HR and IT, ensuring tools are aligned, integrated, and effectively support global learning and development initiatives.

This is a cross-functional role, working closely with L&D, HR systems, and IT teams to design, deliver, and scale user-centric, data-informed digital learning experiences. Your work will directly contribute to employee growth and business performance by leveraging technology to enhance learning across the organisation.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Australia or Singapore.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and develop the learning tech stack, other digital learning platforms, ensuring they are effectively integrated, optimized, and aligned with business and learner needs, with your hands-on approach.
- Partner with L&D, HR systems, Sales Enablement, and IT teams to implement and maintain scalable, secure, and user-friendly learning technologies that support global learning strategies.
- Work closely with IT, Sales Enablement, HR to ensure seamless integration of learning technologies with other enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, performance management systems) and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Ensure accurate tracking of learning data, build dashboards and reports to evaluate learning impact, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Liaise with external vendors and platform providers to manage licenses, upgrades, feature rollouts, and support tickets, ensuring tools remain current and effective.
- Provide business plans, technical requirements, support, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders—including L&D teams, managers, and end users—on how to use learning technologies effectively.
- Ensure digital learning content and systems comply with accessibility standards, corporate policies, and data privacy regulations.
- Stay current with learning technology trends and innovations; evaluate new tools and features to enhance learner engagement, efficiency, and scalability.

Education / Qualifications

- Proven experience in digital learning technology, instructional technology, or related software development roles in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems, SCORM/xAPI content standards, and integration of enterprise HR and learning platforms.
- Strong technical and development knowledge of learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP), multimedia tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint).
- Expert level experience with software development practices and methodologies.
- Understanding of compliance, information security, and data privacy principles in a global context.
- Proactive, self-driven, team player, who can navigate strategy and execution especially through ambiguity environments.
