About the position

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Corporate M&A Lawyer (ideally 5+ years PAE) to join their growing Brisbane team. This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in high-profile corporate transactions, working alongside recognised experts in the field.

You'll advise major domestic and international clients on M&A transactions, corporate structuring, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. Your ability to provide commercially-minded legal advice will be critical in helping clients make strategic business decisions.

With national collaboration, ongoing mentorship from senior leaders, and direct client engagement, this is the perfect step forward for a driven lawyer ready to accelerate their career.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 4–6+ years PAE in corporate and commercial law
- Demonstrated experience in leading M&A and transactional matters
- Strong skills in drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- Commercial acumen and a strategic approach to legal problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage client relationships
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to mentor junior lawyers
