Contract Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing
Location: Wacol, QLD
Industry Leader | Hands On Role | Immediate Start
Overtime | Daily Overtime & Weekend Overtime
Hourly Rate | $60-$70 p/h + super

We are partnering with a leading food manufacturer who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a contract basis at their Wacol facility. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of production through timely preventative and reactive maintenance on fast paced FMCG equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime.

- Carry out preventative maintenance schedules on packaging and processing machinery.

- Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

- Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

- Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards.

About You

- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Mechanical)

- Proven experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment.

- Strong troubleshooting skills across high speed machinery.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.

- Safety focused with excellent attention to detail.
