Overview

Be part of a supportive OSHC team in Leichhardt—create meaningful moments for children in a fun, family-like environment. We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at Immaculate Heart Outside School Hours Care in Leichhardt. The service is based in the school hall and welcomes up to 90 children each day, with a strong sense of community connections and a family-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Provide nurturing care for children

- Ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment

- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all

- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members

- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Qualifications and Requirements

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA equivalent) is desirable

- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

- Passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment

- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire

- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
