THE ROLE

Reporting to the Wellness and Hygiene Manager, the role of Wellness & Hygiene team members is responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of Scape assets in Brisbane. Key responsibilities include daily and periodic public area cleaning, and room cleaning for student exits, group, and short stays bookings to ensure the optimal experience for current and future students.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Daily cleaning of public areas including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry, corridors, and stairwells.
2. Being fully aware of health and safety obligations.
3. Required to work morning shifts on weekends.
4. Participating in building open days and tours.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:

- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Can work in team or individual settings.
- Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries.
- 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment.
