Early Childhood Assistant

Overview

Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to join the team. The role is casual and unqualified, with a rate of $35 per hour (inclusive of casual loading). Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with flexible casual work opportunities. The position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education and to contribute to a nurturing and engaging environment for young children at Curry Kids Early Learning Centre.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing learning materials

- Maintain play areas

- Actively engage with children to support their development

- Help implement learning programs

- Communicate with families

- Contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications
