History Teacher

Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.

The College seeks to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher with an ability to teach History across all stages and courses. Applications from early career teachers who are committed to deliver excellent outcomes for students are also welcomed. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the College’s Learning Framework and a collegial and collaborative approach as a member of a successful department are essential.

All applicants for the above position must be supportive of the Catholic ethos and Marist tradition of the College.

The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students. As such, further opportunities beyond a teaching role may be available but are optional.
