Administration Officer - Hospital Reception

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive customer-focused service to internal and external customers regarding Admissions and Reception.
- Give information to external and internal clients via telephone or in person and direct them to the appropriate areas in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide clerical support to the Admissions and Reception team to ensure an effective, financially informed and efficient presentation and admission process for all patients.
- Work as part of a team under the guidance of the Administration Team Leader and Administration Manager.
- Maintain flexibility to work a rotating roster.
Qualifications and Experience
- Well-developed communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills; ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a medical practice or hospital.
- Some knowledge of the private health sector, including health fund contract tables and member eligibility.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
