Let's talk about the roles and responsibilities:

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you design and manage AWS infrastructure, automate processes using tools like Terraform and scripting languages, and implement CI/CD pipelines. You also set up monitoring and logging solutions, ensure security and compliance, collaborate with development and operations teams, and provide support and troubleshooting for infrastructure issues. Your role ensures a robust, scalable, and secure environment for efficient application deployment and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage platform templates using Jenkins files and Ansible roles to ensure uniform delivery and management.
- Implement pipeline as code (using Jenkins or similar tools), manage distributed version control (Git or similar), and oversee artefact management, security scanning, and analysis.
- Utilize strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, Bash, and PowerShell for system administration and management.
- Leverage extensive experience with AWS to design and implement cloud solutions.
- Apply 5+ years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and other IaC tools to manage infrastructure.
- Utilize deep knowledge of AWS networking services and concepts and apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Deliver and operate application security orchestration tools in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
- Use tools like Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace for system observability and monitoring.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Splunk is advantageous.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with scripting and programming (Bash, Python, JSON, YAML, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS technologies.
- 5+ years of experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong expertise in AWS networking services and concepts.
- Proficiency in secure development tooling and application security orchestration.
- Excellent understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Splunk.
