Sinch ClickSend is a global cloud-based SaaS communications platform for businesses and developers that enables companies of all shapes and sizes to easily and cost effectively communicate with their customers and staff via multiple channels. Sinch ClickSend has SMS at its core and powers billions of messages annually but has expanded to become a true all-in-one multi-channel business communications platform offering SMS, MMS, RCS, Email, Voice, Fax and Post by dashboard, API or hundreds of integrations.

As a Copywriter at Sinch ClickSend, you will take ownership of how we talk to customers throughout the entire user journey from acquisition through conversion to retention and everything in between. And those customers can be technical and non-technical.
You’ll be working in the marketing team and within a marketing strategy that is big on targeting segments and positioning against those segments with tactics pretty much wholly playing out in the digital space with a big SEO/SEM/inbound focus.
We’re rapidly expanding our global footprint and have ambitious content plans. As such we are looking for a senior digital copywriter who is happy with a mix of strategy and tactics, we’re a small team and we all roll our sleeves up and get stuck in when required.
The successful candidate will have experience creating, implementing, managing, and measuring digital content communication strategies and plans. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be experienced in building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across our global network.
You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and will be responsible for assisting in the creation, and then the implementation, of the content strategy to assist in achieving brand objectives and forecasted acquisition KPIs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage content related projects to support the continuous improvement of ClickSend’s digital communication channels this will span our:
- website/s
- landing pages
- developer portal
- integrations marketplace portal
- blog
- Deliver copywriting for digital executions across a broad range of customer touchpoints with a key focus on user experience (UX) and readability
- Review, revise, refresh, create copy for Google Ads, automated onboarding emails and marketing emails
- Create copy for content marketing initiatives from eBooks to infographics
- Create copy for sales decks, brochures and flyers
- Deliver innovative, data-driven and best practice copy and content
- Deliver creative content that is optimised for search engines
- Formalise and own the company’s tone of voice
Qualifications and Skills
- You ideally have formal qualification in communications, journalism, marketing or writing with solid experience in either an agency or client side
- Proven experience in writing Product/Website/Landing pages, case studies, user journey emails for software products, overlays for animated explainer and marketing videos and creating and/or editing technical content
- Demonstrable evidence of previous copywriting and ability to clearly explain the rationale behind the copy
- A good understanding of search optimised copy
- A good understanding of what makes good ad copy
- Understand the differences between headlines, taglines, subheads etc and emotional versus functional copy
- You are a natural storyteller with a unique ability to write in an engaging way, regardless of the audience
- Know how to write conversational and converting copy
- Be comfortable crafting digital copy which seeks to convert users as concisely as possible
- Be comfortable with writing/editing for technical and non-technical audiences
- Be able to collaborate with dev and marketing/creative teams
- Have excellent written English with strong communication skills
- Ability to explore international markets and regions and get familiar with lingos and terms used
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
