Job Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide insights on financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualise financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics using Power BI.
- Automate recurring financial reports and streamline month-end close processes through Power BI integrations.
- Analyse complex financial datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CPA Qualified
- Advanced Power BI capability
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Experience working with large ERP's is a must. Microsoft Business Central is highly regarded
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
