Business Development Manager – Queensland Territory | $100K–$120K Base + Motor Vehicle Allowance | $200K–$240K OTE

A fast-growing SaaS and digital services company transforming health & safety management in the construction industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to own the Queensland territory.
You’ll be based in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast, working with builders, contractors, and partners to drive adoption of a platform that simplifies compliance, enhances safety, and streamlines operations.

What You’ll Actually Do:
- Own and grow a high-potential sales territory across Queensland
- Prospect and qualify leads through networking, outbound activity, and merchant partner collaborations
- Conduct compelling product demos and sales presentations, positioning the platform as the go-to solution for compliance and safety
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and partner activations to build pipeline and brand presence
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, developing a structured territory plan and leveraging CRM tools to stay on top of your pipeline
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping small to mid-sized builders and contractors understand the long-term value of the platform
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years in B2B SaaS or construction technology sales with a strong track record of closing deals
- Consultative selling ability, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Industry knowledge in construction, safety, or compliance-driven environments (highly desirable)
- Networking and relationship-building skills with builders, contractors, and compliance managers
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding revenue goals
- Excellent presentation and communication skills—comfortable leading demos, webinars, and in-person meetings
What Success Looks Like:
- Build a pipeline of quality opportunities across your territory
- Consistently hit and exceed monthly revenue targets
- Educate and convert clients on the long-term value of the platform
- Earn $200K+ in your first year while shaping how construction firms approach safety and compliance
This role is to be filled by Pointer, it is not for Pointer. The successful candidate will also receive 12 months of ongoing training and support, including advanced training programs and access to communities for professional growth - All of which is provided by Pointer in addition to internal programs.
