About the role:

Reporting to our General Manager Project Deliver & Design we have two newly created Program Manager positions to join our Digital Services Team.

As a Program Manager you will be responsible for providing full and complete leadership and management of project teams delivering multiple small, large and complex programs at the sector level and enterprise wide.

These positions offer an exciting opportunity for individuals that want to help shape how Ventia delivers digital projects across the business with a focus on driving a positive culture of collaboration and uplifting our team's ability to find solutions and execute in an ever-changing environment.

Full time permanent role, hybrid working with time in the office and work from home. Flexible on office base, North Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred but open to consider other locations for the right individual.

What you'll be doing:

- Develop, maintain, and optimise the Digital project portfolio to ensure transparency of all projects with respective sponsors and leadership.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement in project management standards, methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise and balance project manager loads according to organisational goals and resource availability.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reporting on project status, performance, risks and actions to the leadership team and business program reviews.
- Financial management of program portfolio, forecast accuracy ensuring accurate updating of capital spend.
- Manage resource utilisation, identify, assess and drive risk actions implementing proactive measure to minimise issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to all ISO and compliance frameworks, govern the quality of key project deliverable and entry/exit gates in PMO 365.

About you:

- Proven portfolio project and project team leadership within a large scale complex matrixed organisation.
- Well developed working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suit.
- Demonstrated experience with project excellence, governance, risk management with strong commercial acumen.
- Supportive leader with proven ability to drive a positive culture that fosters an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Proven ability to think strategically, translate vision, overcome objections and bring stakeholders along the journey.
- Exposure to change management and ability to align strategies to organisation goals.
- High level of communication and business engagement able to build relationships at various levels of the business both at senior leadership and operational levels.
