About the role

- Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with empathy and efficiency in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

- Manage a portfolio of fleet claims including commercial motor, retail and wholesale customers applying thoughtful decision‑making throughout the lifecycle of each claim

- Manage a portfolio of claims while handling inbound and outbound calls

- Building and nurturing strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.

- Delivering compassionate and responsive customer service, while actively contributing to a supportive and positive team culture across the broader business unit.

- Ensuring all interactions align with AAL’s standards and regulatory expectations, while prioritising timely and effective customer support.

- Responsible for coaching and development of new starters, supporting the team manager, leading call reviews and participating in QA review processes, to help uplift team performance and create a culture of continuous growth

About you

- Experienced claims consultant with a strong background in motor, commercial, complaints, and fleet claims, bringing calm leadership and support to peers in a fast‑paced call‑centre environment.

- Confident communicator able to manage volume of inbound and outbound calls with empathy and care for our customers.

- Builds strong, empathetic relationships with customers and brokers, navigating complex needs with professionalism and care.

- Confident navigating competing priorities across multiple systems and PDS documents, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.

- Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal, while leveraging digital tools and reporting platforms to support team goals.

- Detail‑focused and thoughtful decision‑maker, committed to continuous learning and development through mentoring and portfolio contributions

- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast‑changing digital world
