Position Overview: Forklift Operator in packaging/warehouse team.
2pm-10pm

Will be picking orders on a pallet jack for the first couple of weeks then will be moved to a counterbalance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Load and unload trucks, ensuring that all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
3. Transport pallets of packaged alcohol products to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
4. Stack and organise pallets in designated storage areas, following inventory management procedures.
5. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
6. pick and pack with RF scanner of individual cases or bottles
7. Escalate any issues with machine/conveyor to line leader

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a forklift operator
2. Valid forklift licence
3. Understanding of safety
4. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate machinery in a safe and controlled manner.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and perform tasks that may require bending and reaching.
