About the role

Nestled in Grovedale, just 15 minutes from Geelong’s city centre and a short drive to the Surf Coast, Estia Health Grovedale offers a relaxed and community-minded environment. The way that we provide nutrition and hydration in our homes is evolving to align with our Resident Person-Centred Care Framework. We are moving to a more traditional restaurant model that has ‘front of house’ and ‘back of house’ team members.

As a Personal Care Worker – Nutrition, you’ll play an important role in enriching our residents’ daily lives by assisting with meal service, hydration, and dining experiences. This role is perfect for qualified PCAs who enjoy meaningful, resident-focused interactions and want to contribute to residents’ comfort and wellbeing in a calm, social setting. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values care, respect and connection — making every mealtime an opportunity to brighten someone’s day.

In this role, you will help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health’s personalised meal service guidelines.

You will also:

- Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, are comfortable and well-fed.

- Work with our team to assist those residents who require additional support and care

- Help our residents to enjoy meaningful and engaging activities

- Be a supportive friend to our residents.

- Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.

You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives and you will have a Cert lll or IV in Aged Care, and ideally experience as a Personal Carer working within a Residential Aged Care Home setting.
