**The Position**

**St John of God Healthcare at Home (HAH)** offers a range of at home services including hospital substitution, acute and non-acute services to assist clients recover after a hospital stay.
- We are seeking a reliable and committed
- ** Personal Care Worker (PCA)** for our Health Care at Home services in Geelong to provide personal care requirements for clients in their place of residence within the community.
- Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Registered Nurse as a PCA, you will provide personal care requirements to clients in their place of residence in the community. You will be responsible to the Registered Nurse for standards of practice in relation to the provision of care including all infection control issues.
- This is a great opportunity to work within a dedicated and professional clinical team who provide excellent standards of care to clients throughout our local community.
- Applicants must hold a valid Driver’s License and meet the relevant role criteria below to be considered;

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged care, Disability or Individual Support.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload.
- Commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Ability to take direction and instruction from a Registered Nurse and to undertake delegated tasks safely, efficiently and in a customer friendly manner.
- Basic computer literacy and a willingness to develop this further.
- Possession of current First Aid Certificate Level 2.
