We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aviation Learning & Development Manager to design, deliver, and oversee high-quality training programs across our aviation operations.

This pivotal role will ensure our workforce meets all regulatory requirements while being equipped with the skills and confidence to perform at their best. Working closely with operational leaders, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to develop innovative training solutions that foster a culture of continuous learning, leadership development, and operational excellence. Central to this role is shaping long term workforce capability, embedding modern learning practices, and ensuring training supports both immediate operational readiness and the future growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of aviation training programs in line with CASA and industry requirements
- Manage the Learning & Development team, trainers, and external training providers
- Develop tailored learning pathways for aviation security staff, supervisors, and managers
- Ensure training programs are compliant with regulatory, legislative, and client requirements
- Drive innovation in digital learning, blended training, and competency-based assessment
- Partner with senior leaders to identify skill gaps and implement workforce development strategies
- Monitor training outcomes and report on compliance, effectiveness, and ROI.

About You

- Strong background in Learning & Development within aviation, transport, or a highly regulated industry
- In-depth knowledge of aviation compliance, CASA, or security regulatory framework
- Demonstrated experience managing training teams and large-scale development programs
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) required
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Ability to deliver innovative, practical, and scalable training solutions.
