What does the job look like?

Linfox is currently seeking experienced Tug drivers to fill a permanent Monday - Friday roster from 4am - 4pm at our Heathwood Retail site. As a tug driver you will couple/uncouple trailers and move them on or off various docks as needed within the confines of the yard. Key areas:

- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards & ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedure plus the ability to work unsupervised

Ability to work & communicate effectively with team members, managers & customers

Are you the one?

If you take pride in working independently, have a strong commitment to safety, this could be the role for you. You can demonstrate:

- Possess an unrestricted HC or MC licence
- Tug experience is highly beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role operating in a retail environment
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- High customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills
