The role provides an opportunity to practice women centred care within the scope of practice for a registered Midwife. A community focused model of Maternity care that provides collaborative and integrative services to address the needs of women and their families. Our Midwives can work across a range of ambulatory and non-ambulatory services, including Antenatal, Intrapartum/Birthing, Postnatal and community/ancillary services. EMHS Midwives have opportunities to gain experience in the Midwifery Group Practice, including the award-winning Boodjari Yorgas service supporting Aboriginal maternal health and wellbeing.
