About the OPPORTUNITY:

Deliver compliant and mature conceptual designs of Combat Systems’ owned compartments, in accordance with program requirements and schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

- Work with engineering managers and technical leaders to mature the spatial design of combat systems compartments in accordance with system and program requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the detailed design team to manage tradeoffs between functional design intent and physical constraints.
- Evaluate supplier equipment data with respect to it’s physical integration, including the identification of design impacts and risks.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of multi-disciplinary technical issues.
- Contribute to, and participate in technical reviews and working groups.

About You:

- Experience working with ships is considered desirable
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is considered highly desirable
- Experience in technical integration is considered essential
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain an NV1 Clearance
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
