Join Jetstar as the Fraud & Revenue Protection Manager and lead the charge in safeguarding our revenue and digital assets. You'll be at the forefront of identifying, managing, and mitigating fraud risks across all sales and payment channels, with the support of an offshore Fraud Support team. This role involves spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance fraud detection technology, payment security, and customer verification processes, while ensuring a seamless customer experience. Collaborate closely with Digital Product Owners and Product Managers to identify and address vulnerabilities before product launches. As Fraud & Revenue Protection Manager, your focus will include:

- Lead the Fraud and Revenue Protection function with the support of an offshore Fraud Support team, proactively identifying, monitoring, and managing fraud across all Jetstar commercial channels.
- Manage fraud monitoring tools, rules, and processes, continuously evolving fraud detection technology, payment security, and customer verification to stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Drive a customer-centric approach to fraud detection, improving payment authorisation rates and reducing customer friction.
- Collaborate with external vendors, payment systems, fraud tool providers, and reservation system providers to optimize fraud detection strategies.
- Lead investigations into complex fraud cases, coordinate resolution and remediation activities, and recommend improvements to chargeback management processes.
- Leverage multiple datasets and user behavior analytics to detect fraud patterns, create actionable insights, and produce regular reporting of payment fraud metrics.
- Establish cross-functional forums on fraud and revenue protection with internal stakeholders and manage liaison with relevant departments at Qantas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, demonstrate strong leadership, and foster a collaborative and productive team environment while living the Jetstar values.

About You

We’re searching for someone who:

- Tertiary qualified in a relevant field or has equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in fraud management, revenue protection, or a related risk function.
- Possesses strong knowledge of payment systems and fraud prevention tools (e.g., 3DS, fraud scores, machine learning, user behaviour analytics).
- Experience with fraud systems (highly desirable).
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of fraud principles, processes, procedures, and trends in fraud prevention (highly desirable).
- Experience in the aviation and/or travel-related industry preferred.
- Aptitude for identifying new approaches to risk management and thinking creatively.
- Maintains a problem-solving, positive, and constructive attitude.
