Overview
The Company My client is an international food and beverage company looking for its next Project Engineer. The exciting opportunity has become available to assist with projects over the next 3 months, with a view for extension. This role is based in Northern Tasmania.
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the responsibilities of the role includes:
- Coordination of project schedules to meet scope and budget
- Mange implementation including safety of the plant, products and personnel
- Optimise on the delivery of cost-effective, timely solutions
- Demonstrating and delivering quality & HSE excellence across all projects
- Providing effective engineering solutions
- Liaising across internal and external stakeholders, managing technical queries
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- Tertiary qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer
- 4+ years experience within engineering within a manufacturing facility in capital investment - dairy manufacturing will be highly advantageous
- A combination of hands-on and strategic experience
- Able to work within a team environment
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
