The Company & Site

With this well-known and reputable mining contractor / mining principals you will be supporting the team to meet their goals. This role is at an UG hardrock mine in N.QLD

- Wide range of training and development opportunities with long term job security and career development pathways

- Attractive, modern camp set up with good facilities including wet and dry mess, resident chefs and good food, camp close to site, renovated gym.

- Lifestyle friendly 2:2 roster across days and nights (1 week of days / 1 week of nights)

The Role & Duties

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include:

- Primarily working surface workshop maintenance duties - including problem solving, diagnostics, servicing, general repairs

- As and when needed and trained to do so there will be some field service work - including breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics

- Machinery on site includes Sandvik, CAT and other OEM gear including drills, boggers, trucks, charge up equipment, IT's and more

Roster & Hours

- 7-day shifts, 7-night shifts, 14 off - 12-hour shifts

- Fly to site on the morning of day 1, fly home after night shift on shift 14

- FIFO from Brisbane / Townsville and Cairns on a charter flight

Your Skills & Experience

We are seeking an experience automotive electrician who has the following:

- Trade qualified in auto electrical or equivalent

- Experience on heavy equipment is essential such as earthmoving, agricultural.

- Open cut / underground mining experience is highly regarded

- Excellent safety focus and ability to work as part of a team

- Ability to pass a full pre‑employment medical & police clearance
