Your responsibilities will include installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced scientific and analytical instruments.This role is ideal for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment.**What you will bring to the role:*** Install and commission complex scientific and analytical instruments, ensuring seamless setup from delivery to customer sign-off.* Perform hands-on repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment across a variety of applications.* Troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely, using diagnostic tools and expertise to resolve problems efficiently.* Provide remote support and guidance to customers, minimizing downtime and maintaining high service standards.* Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers, keeping them informed of progress, next steps, and resolution timelines.* Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when needed to ensure swift, high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction.**About you:*** Relevant qualifications in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Advanced Diploma or higher), with 2+ years’ experience in technical or customer support.* Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with precision mechanics and the use of diagnostic tools and toolkits.* Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, with a service-driven mindset and ability to engage across all levels.* Proven ability to problem-solve, stay composed under pressure, and make sound decisions independently in the field.* Strong organizational and planning skills, with the initiative to work both autonomously and within a team environment.* Willingness to travel (50–60%) across Australasia; experience with XRF/XRD, other analytical instruments, and a radiation safety license (NSW or other) is a strong advantage.**Why you should join us:*** Be a part of an ambitious, fast-growing, international company with a friendly and inclusive culture.* Drive growth within a leading global organisation whose purpose is to work with our customers, to make the world a better place* Be a key member of our team in our amazing offices* Gym discounts* Volunteering days and much more#LI-CS2Together we are a powerful and highly complementary combination of market leading technologies.We are the toolmakers for the world's most innovative companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories.
