Job Description:
CDA Coliving is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing all legal and commercial contracts related to our operations. This includes lease agreements, vendor contracts, service-level agreements, and internal compliance documentation. You will ensure all contracts align with legal requirements and company policies while supporting a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate residential tenancy agreements, vendor agreements, and internal contracts.
- Maintain up-to-date and legally compliant contract templates aligned with company standards.
- Manage a centralized contract database and track key milestones (renewals, expiries, obligations).
- Monitor compliance with tenancy laws, real estate regulations, and internal company policies.
- Identify legal and financial risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide contract-related guidance and support to internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance.
- Deliver internal training on contract terms and approval workflows.
- Collaborate with legal counsel for high-risk agreements and support dispute resolution.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract management or legal coordination.
- Strong understanding of Australian contract and tenancy law.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management tools and digital platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Google Drive).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
