The Opportunity
Come and join our team We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Belmont North.
You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
To be successful in this role you will have
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
- Driver's License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
