Your role

As a Duty Shift Supervisor, you will:

- Lead aviation security personnel to ensure consistent service delivery and regulatory compliance
- Support, coach, and mentor Team Leaders and frontline staff to maintain high performance
- Oversee shift operations, including team deployment, coordination of breaks, and addressing resourcing issues
- Respond to operational challenges, incidents, and performance concerns, escalating as required
- Liaise with airline representatives, airport authorities, and internal teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Promoting a culture of Security with Service and Integrity
- Conduct compliance checks, ensure all equipment is operational, and brief staff on ad-hoc tasks
- Ensure accurate documentation and incident reporting in line with Certis policies

This Role Offers

This is a part-time positioninvolving rotating shift work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays. Rostered hours are subject to flight schedules, and flexibility is essential to meet operational demands.

Applicants who do not currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protectionwill be provided with the required training and supportto obtain the qualification as part of the onboarding process.

· Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

· Fully certified and accredited to perform Aviation Security Operative duties

What you Bring

Desirable Qualifications:

- Certificate II & III in Security Operations
- Current NSW 1A Security Licence (or equivalent SA licence)
- Valid Senior First Aid Certificate
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Fully certified and accredited to perform Aviation Security Operative duties

Skills & Attributes

- Demonstrated leadership in aviation or high-security environments
- In-depth understanding of aviation security standards, regulations, and SOPs
- High-level customer service and communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts, manage team performance, and maintain compliance
- Familiarity with Certis Standard Operating Procedures and WHS practices
- Professional appearance and a strong sense of integrity
