About the Roles

PIMS Group are now seeking motivated and passionate Underground Professionals for the Whynot Bord and Pillar Operation. We have limited roles available within the operation commencing for an immediate start. Embracing inclusion and diversity representing the communities in which our team live, PIMS Group is focused on high performance, safety, teamwork, indigenous participation and gender balance.

About You

These opportunities are available for enthusiastic and motivated individuals wanting to work within a new operation in the Hunter Valley. We are eager to engage with people who have a genuine interest in their chosen profession. We are looking for adaptable, positive individuals who are open to exploring or gaining further knowledge in Bord and Pillar Operations. Reporting to relevant Team Leaders, successful applicants will strive for professionalism, be loyal and committed, hold integrity in everything they do along with mutual respect and awareness.

As these roles are residential, employees will be required to live within a safe distance from Maxwell Mine, in alignment with Malabar Resources fatigue management policies. Please note that accommodation and travel are not provided for these positions.

- Demonstrate experience in their chosen profession through training transcripts;
- Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation, Engineering Standards at the Maxwell Bord and Pillar Underground Operation;
- Possess a strong work ethic with a great attendance record;
- Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;
- Be motivated to achieve individual and team goals and objectives with a willingness to actively contribute to attaining results.
