Master the Kitchen and Be Part of Cairns Airports Fast Paced Chef Adventure
Position: Part-Time / Casual
Pay: $25–$30/hr (based on experience)
Cook up a storm in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen at Cairns Airport
From prepping to plating, you’ll deliver meals that travellers love, support your teammates, and help create a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.

Desired Skills and Experience
What You'll Do
- Serve fast, friendly meals with consistent quality
- Prep, cook, and plate menu items under time pressure
- Monitor stock, rotate supplies, and maintain accurate records
- Keep kitchens clean and uphold high food-safety standards
- Coach and support junior team members
About You
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Experience in high-volume or quick-service kitchens
- ASIC (or willing to apply) and reliable transport
- Positive, collaborative, punctual, and ready to dive in
