We’re looking for a compassionate and collaborative specialist to join our Paediatric Palliative Care Service (PPCS) at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to provide holistic, family-centred care to children across the Hunter New England region and the Child Health Network – Northern.

You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team making a big impact – supporting children and families and helping shape the future of paediatric palliative care in NSW.

About us

John Hunter Children’s Hospital is 1 of only 3 dedicated children’s hospitals in NSW, serving as the major paediatric referral centre for Northern NSW. - engage in research, quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Fellowship of the RACP and Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (or equivalent)

- Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and compassionate care delivery
- Strong communication, leadership and teaching skills
