Delaware North Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Seamstress to join the team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. What will you do?

- Perform general repairs and alterations to staff uniforms and soft furnishings e.g. bathrobes, curtains and cushions
- Repair damaged garments including fixing seams, replacing zippers, tears and buttons
- Perform repairs and alterations to guest personal clothing when required
- Inform the Uniform Supervisor for replenishing sewing supplies
- Record and file any repairs/replacements made to employee uniforms
- Assist in soaking, stain removal and laundering of any garments

More about you

- Proven experience in garment alterations and repairs, ideally with a relevant textiles qualification
- Proficiency with industrial and domestic sewing machines, including embroidery machine experience
- Understanding of fabrics and garment construction
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
