Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchen Steward to join the team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness across all food and beverage production areas and outlets. You will also ensure that all buffets and functions are set up and cleared efficiently, while adhering to high standards of cleanliness for kitchen equipment and utensils. What you will do?
- Ensure cleanliness in all food and beverage production areas
- Set up and clear buffets and functions with attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage tasks effectively during peak times
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
More about you
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain at onboarding
- Knowledge of HACCP and WH&S safety standards
- Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including public holidays and weekends
- Good communication skills and cultural awareness in a multi-cultural workplace
