The Role

In this role, you will design and implement strategies that strengthen workforce capability and ensure staff are supported to deliver high-quality, compliant, and patient-focused clinical research. You’ll partner closely with leaders, clinical teams, and corporate stakeholders to embed a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging training programs for clinical and operations staff

- Develop and maintain competency frameworks aligned with clinical research needs

- Support onboarding, continuous education, and career pathing

- Identify current and future skill gaps, aligning workforce capability to strategic goals

- Implement leadership and mentoring programs to support talent development

- Lead organisational initiatives in change management, engagement, and culture-building

- Partner with senior leaders, HR, and external vendors on capability strategies

- Facilitate workshops, forums, and planning sessions to drive collaboration and growth

About You

We are seeking a motivated, people-focused leader with proven expertise in capability and development, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or a clinical research environment.

To succeed, you will bring:

- Experience in L&D, organisational development, or capability management

- Strong background in workforce planning, career development, and succession planning

- Proven skills in change management and embedding cultural initiatives

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management ability

- Knowledge of clinical trials, regulatory environments, or healthcare operations essential

- Familiarity with learning platforms, competency models, or behavioural assessment tools
