This maternity leave relief position located in Moree is perfect for those ready to jump in and become a valued part of the team. Your role as a Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker, you will provide short term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.
- Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.
- Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

- Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields and/ or demonstrated extensive experience working with families with complex needs.
- Experience in Case Management education program delivery, development, implementation, coordination, review and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex families who may be difficult to engage.
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communities
- Demonstrated experience in developing working relationships with multi-faceted services.
- Current driver's license and ability to travel regularly where overnight stays may be required.
