Tamworth, Australia ClearCompany Full time

Overview

At HAYLO People, we specialise in recruitment across General Insurance, and Personal Injury. We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager with deep experience in general insurance and a strong track record of leading complex SaaS-based implementation projects. In this role, you’ll oversee the full delivery lifecycle of large-scale technology programs for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

- Lead planning and delivery of complex technology projects from kickoff through go-live and handover to support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Services, Product, and Engineering) and client-side stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.

- Act as the primary delivery contact for clients, owning all delivery-related communication and issue resolution.

- Assess delivery scenarios and provide practical, scalable implementation strategies that align with product capabilities.

- Guide platform configuration and integration based on client workflows, data structures, and operational requirements.

- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues—developing mitigation plans where needed.

- Oversee project resourcing, timelines, and budget tracking.

- Maintain detailed documentation of technical and functional requirements, client-specific configurations, and use cases.

- Support clients with user training, go-live preparation, and the transition to ongoing support.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders through a deep understanding of their needs, processes, and goals.

To be successful in this role, you will offer:

- Strong understanding of general insurance (Property & Casualty or similar domains).

- At least 3 years of experience managing technical delivery or implementation projects in a SaaS, software, or tech consulting environment.

- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in a client-facing role.

- Solid knowledge of platform architecture, system integration, and the software delivery lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience with SaaS configuration and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.

- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong technical and business documentation skills.

- Experience working with change requests and managing scope within contractual agreements.

What’s on Offer

- Opportunity to lead high-impact digital transformation projects in a growing and evolving industry.

- Work with a collaborative and experienced team in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

- Flexible work arrangements focused on delivering results, not clocking hours.

- Career development through exposure to enterprise-scale projects and emerging technology.
