What You’ll Be Working On

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking to lead complex engineering projects from design to completion while managing infrastructure asset functions.

You will undertake the full range of civil and building infrastructure project management activities, including environmental assessment processes, community consultation and approvals.

You will deliver key projects which directly support Council’s Infrastructure Asset Management Plans and MOSPLAN objectives, while coordinating and mentoring a team of engineers.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with eligibility for Graduate Membership of Engineers Australia, and bring at least seven years’ relevant post-qualification experience.

You will have significant experience in project management of civil and building infrastructure projects, including contract management, design review and engagement with consultants and stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience in infrastructure asset management, particularly relating to roads, stormwater and retaining wall assets, will be highly regarded, along with strong leadership and coordination skills.

You will also demonstrate advanced technical capability, including CAD design, database use, Excel and word processing, and hold a current Class C driver’s licence.
