The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful applicant will perform carpentry work.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct, assemble, install and repair timber and metal frameworks and structures.
- Measure, cut, shape and join timber and other construction materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Install doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, fixtures, and fittings.
- Inspect and maintain existing structures, replacing or repairing defective parts.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, standards, and site safety requirements.

Skills and Experience

- AQF Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
- At least 1 - 2 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Salary and Conditions

- Salary: 76,000 per annum + superannuation.
- Full-time, 38 hours per week.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.
