Manual Machinist

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist / Fitter & Machinist to join our client’s dynamic and growing maintenance and repair team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a strong mechanical background to work with a well-established organisation in the engineering sector. Our client is a well-established engineering and maintenance company based in Lisarow, specialising in the repair, refurbishment, and supply of industrial rotating equipment.

What you will be doing:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

- Setting up and operating lathes, boring machines, and related manual machining equipment
- Performing precision machining and fitting from engineering drawings and specifications
- Assembling, fault diagnosing, and repairing rotating and metal equipment
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

What you will need:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in manual machining, fitting, and assembly work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Highly Regarded Skills

- Welding skills (TIG, MIG, or ARC)
- Experience with pump and rotating equipment maintenance
