Location: Kemps Creek, NSW. Permanent position available with the following roster: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, all PM shifts (1400-2000), Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, all PM shifts (1400-2000).

Pay rate: From $29.50 per hour + superannuation + casual loadings. As a not-for-profit employer, you will pay less tax.

About the Role:

As a member of the Catering team at Emmaus Village, you will prepare high-quality food and provide a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

- Provide resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service, and assisting residents as required.
- Support your peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable but not essential.
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
- Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain.
