Chemical Process Technician/ Formulator

What you/'ll do

Are you a recent graduate in Chemical Engineering or Science? Or looking for a new opportunity where you want to bring your prior chemical formulation experience into a new environment?

We have opportunities for you as a Formulator within our client/'s facility in Lara. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be committed to innovation, efficiency, and creating a positive impact. You will play a crucial role in essential production process, ensuring excellence in quality and problem solving as well as leading by example for your team.

The role involves operating machinery, following detailed chemical production formulas, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

- Operate and set up formulation and packaging machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.

- Measure and handle raw materials, including lifting up to 25 kg.

- Support quality control by sampling products and performing checks to ensure they meet specifications.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

- Submitting samples to the lab and performing QC checks

What you/'ll need

- Great communication skills with the ability to interact positively with all levels of the workforce, operational staff and management.

- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 kg.

- Excellent attention to detail aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Study completed in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering or Science is desirable, however those with experience in formulation and batching in similar environments are welcome.

- Knowledge of data entry and quality control.
