This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a dynamic educator who thrives on creating active, connected and confident learners. As Head of Key Learning Area: Physical Education/Health you will lead a team of educators who are committed to igniting a love of movement, sport and healthy living.

- the ability to set high standards for student learning and teacher performance in the physical education/health subject space and communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing

We are seeking a committed specialist with impressive expertise and passion for Physical Education/Health teaching and learning. Demonstrated excellence in their own classroom, pedagogical practice is central to this role.

This leadership position attracts a POR 2 allowance of $11,611 on top of teaching step [eg Step 10 teachers receive $125,789].

Key Faculty Leadership Responsibilities

- building a cohesive and committed faculty team

- development, articulation and implementation of the vision of the faculty

- support of students, staff and parents through appropriate information collation and dissemination across the year levels

All teachers are expected to support the Christian ethos of the College. It is hoped that the successful applicant would be able to actively contribute to the Christian life of the College.

Through your leadership, explain what will we see (ie your vision), what outcomes will be met (ie how this will be measured) and what specific goals/targets you will be setting with the faculty?
