Main duties of the job
- Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
- Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
- Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
- Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy
- Fully assess each patient/'s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
- Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)
- Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
- Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)

Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
Job responsibilities
As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse, you will be attentive, driven, detail-oriented and empathetic. You/'re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:
- Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)

- Assist consultants during clinics
- Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
- Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
Qualifications
- Registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC.
