We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Corporate Communications to join our Sustainability & Corporate Affairs team based in the Sydney CBD office on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the GM Communications, this pivotal leadership role will shape and deliver APA’s internal communications strategy - ensuring our people are engaged with APA’s corporate priorities, culture ambitions, and enterprise-wide change programs. This is a highly visible role, working closely with the CEO and ELT, requiring a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and inspires a high-performing team.

About The Role

- Lead and develop a team of four Communications Business Partners to deliver enterprise-wide corporate communications that align and engage our people.
- Partner with the CEO, ELT, and change leaders to design and deliver impactful communication strategies on corporate priorities, culture, and transformation.
- Prepare and oversee internal speeches, presentations, announcements, and collateral for CEO and ELT communications.
- Govern and shape APA’s internal communications channels (including Empower (Intranet), Viva Engage, ELT communications, All Hands (quarterly town hall) to ensure clear communication and support engagement.
- Maintain and oversee APA’s communications plan and calendar, ensuring priorities are aligned and executed with impact.
- Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support for crisis management, incidents, and business continuity.

About You

- Significant experience leading internal communications in a large, complex ASX-listed (or equivalent) organisation.
- Proven capability in partnering with CEOs and senior executives to craft and deliver impactful messaging and improve employee communications impact.
- Demonstrated success in designing, executing, and governing enterprise-wide communications strategies.
- A strong track record of leading and developing high-performing communications teams.
- Experience supporting large-scale culture change and enterprise transformation.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
